The 2015 Stephen Faoro Battle at the Boarder Flag Football Tournament was held over the weekend, and one team in particular sported a lot of local talent.

Many of the team members were local standout high school football players. The roster included:

Bellingham: Brandon Reyna, Locan Tafa, Paia Soo and Toby Seim.

Ferndale: Jason Farrar.

Meridian: Chase Schmidtz Cantrell, Joel Pears, Corey Culp, Jimmy Nightingale, Mark Simmons, Jarrod Karuza, Jake Pederson, Jesse Alderson, Matt Karuza and Kale Saur.

Mount Baker: Travis LoGrande.

Nooksack Valley: Jeshua Morgan.

Other players included Aaron Erickson, Mike Coe, Brett Hall, Arthur Sanchez, and Zack Meyers.
