One of my favorite quotes by a coach going into the 2017 season was said by first-year coach, Kevin Beason. “Melloy is fast. He makes other fast players look not very fast.” Coach wasn’t wrong. Nelson was a threat to score every time he caught a pass. His 11 touchdown receptions ranked second in Whatcom County. Only a sophomore, he has the chance to break numerous school records at Sehome.
