After leading the Trojans in rushing as a junior in 2016, Schleimer was switched to tight end prior to the 2017 season. The name “Schleimer” is synonymous with running the football in Whatcom County, but Tony caught 40 passes in 2016, and his strength and blocking ability was put to good use at tight end. He ended his career with 1121 yards rushing and 959 yards receiving. He was named All-Conference 1st Team at both tight end and linebacker. He was also named All-State 1st Team at tight end.
