There isn’t anything that Hinson can’t do on the football field. Offensively he had complete control of the team, knowing what everybody’s responsibility was. Extremely accurate as a passer (58.5% completion percentage), and rarely turns the ball over (44 career touchdown passes to just 12 interceptions). He’s also a gifted runner. Dominant as a corner back. He had two pick-sixes against Stanwood in 2016, and opposing passers rarely threw to his side of the field in 2017. He still intercepted two passes. As a punter he was unmatched in Whatcom County. Nearly 40 yards per punt, without giving up huge returns. He was named All-Conference 2nd Team at quarterback, as well as All-Conference 1st Team at defensive back and punter for the second year in a row. He was also named All-State 1st Team at defensive back.
