After being named All-Conference 2nd Team at offensive line last season, the Red Raiders tried their luck at putting Oesterling at their tight end/slot receiver hybrid position that Jospeh Worley had played. During the occasional Wing-T formations, Oesterling would line up at tight end. He made even more of his presence known at defensive end, and there he was named All-Conference 2nd Team this season. An extremely versatile player with great size, strength and overall ability.
