A strong spring and summer allowed Barrett to start the season in the Mountaineer backfield at fullback. After a strong start to the season an injury at Meridian (when he carried 21 times for 95 yards) slowed him down, and the rest of the season wasn’t the same as he mostly played spot duty on defense. He ran for 104 yards and three touchdowns against Port Townsend. He will likely be the main running back next season for Mount Baker.
